Ron heads the Team, the Founder of Fitton Insurance Brokers establishing the Company in Toowoomba in 1984 successfully accumulating more than 31 years’ experience in the insurance industry. With his background and special interest in thoroughbred breeding, Ron is more than capable to handle any insurance matter. His particular areas of expertise involve corporate, commercial and bloodstock insurance. Through his Company’s annual sponsorship of the first 2 year old race in Queensland held at Clifford Park since 1987 and staging the Fitton Charity Race Day in Toowoomba, he and his mother Del have been instrumental in directing substantial funds towards the Queensland Institute of Medical Research for their ongoing cancer research programs and the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation. He and his wife, Sonia, have three young children attending Toowoomba Prep, in his spare moments he enjoys taking them to sporting activities, including horse riding at the family property “Gawsworth” in Toowoomba.

Jo has a wide knowledge in all levels of insurance cover and associated products, spanning some twenty years’ experience in the industry. Specializing in bloodstock insurance, in particular high-end race horses and performance horses, she is a highly experienced and well-respected family member in the Fitton Corporation, playing an integral role in the business. In addition, Jo manages the day-to-day running of the office, as well as overseeing the training and further education of the company’s team of account brokers.

Recently joining the Fitton Insurance Brokers, Nathan is the newest member of the team, specializing in Commercial Insurance. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained from spending several years brokering in New South Wales and is able to offer informative advice in most areas of insurance. Nathan was also a member of the RACQ Care Flight Rescue Helicopter team, prior to starting at Fitton Insurance.

Bronte recently moved from the area of sales and customer service to embark on a career in the insurance industry. Her primary role at Fitton Insurance Company encompasses the areas of building and improving customer relations, developing new business strategies and assisting the Managing Director. As a member of the Fitton team, Bronte is also responsible for processing renewals. She is in the final year of a Visual Arts Degree at the University of Southern Queensland.

Anita is both well-known and highly respected by the Fitton Insurance Company, having served in a previous role, overseeing all areas of Farm and Rural Insurance some ten years ago. Recently rejoining the Fitton ranks, following a period of absence to raise her new young family, Anita is once again a valued member of the team and looks forward to again serving new and past clients.

Lauren recently moved to Australia from the UK, joining the Fitton Insurance Company to commence a career in the insurance industry. As Assistant Account Broker in the Fitton Team, she takes care of two portfolios, overseeing all Personal Lines Insurance, as well as Insurance Claims. In addition, Lauren manages the administration areas of the business. She is expecting her first child in September and will return to resume her role in the Fitton team next year.

Prue occupies the role of Receptionist and also oversees the management of reports and claims administration. She plays an integral role in providing major support to the Broker team. Her many qualities include a high involvement in the Football (AFL) Community and she is also trained in both sports medicine and sports rehabilitation.

As well as serving in a traineeship with the Fitton Insurance Company, Jordan is undertaking secondary school education in Grade 11. She provides assistance in all areas where necessary, giving valuable support to the Fitton team.
