We have been busy since the start of the New Financial year attending a number of Insurance Industry, Equine and networking events.
Managing Director, Ron Fitton and his mother, Del Fitton, attended the Ekka on 11th August to view the Judging of the very prestigious Thoroughbred Classes. It was excellent to see such outstanding quality in Australian thoroughbred horses. Ron and Del also took the opportunity to catch up with clients and old friends.
On the 15-16th August, Jo-Anna completed the very impressive 200km Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer from Brisbane to Canungra and back. This year 703 riders raised $2.9million with funds going to the QIMR Clive Berghofer Medical Research Institute, a world leader in cancer research and one of the largest research institutes in the Southern Hemisphere.
Our Brokers Niah and Jolean as well as Ron attended the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers Inc. Annual Conference held at Sea World on the Gold Coast on the 7-8th August. The conference gives our Brokers the opportunity to discuss current issues & learn about new products in Insurance Brokerage.
In July, Amelia graduated with a Bachelor of Agribusiness from the University of Queensland and is now with us full-time. Amelia attended the QLD State Reining Championships as well as the World Cup Showjumping in Caboolture on the 7-9th August.
